If you are familiar with Amazon Prime’s hit series, Mozart in the Jungle, you must have experienced the incredible compositions. Never have I been as fascinated by the classical genre and the slick characters make the show all so endearing. Much to my delight, the romantic comedy features the wonderful sounds of Jennifer Choi, an incredibly charismatic violinist. Jennifer worked as a recording artist and the primary violin coach to the actors.
Jennifer is known for her exceptional skills in improvisation, solo violin and chamber music. After giving her debut recital at the Carnegie Hall’s Weill Hall, Jennifer performed internationally. Some of her performances were held at the Library of Congress, RAI National Radio (Rome), and the Mozartsalle (Vienna).
Jennifer holds music degrees from the prestigious Juilliard School and Oberlin Conservatory of Music. She teaches for the New York Philharmonic Education Department. Jennifer also gives master lectures internationally. Some institutions that held her classes include Vermont College of Fine Arts, the University Freiburg, Shanghai Conservatory, Zhengzhou University, Mannes School of Music, Oberlin, Tulane University, and many more.
